Caring For Your Contacts
- Always wash and dry your hands before handling contact lenses
- Store lenses in the proper lens storage case and replace the case at a minimum of every three months
- Use only products recommended by your optometrist to clean and disinfect your lenses
- Only fresh solution should be used to clean and store contact lenses. Never reuse old solution
- Always follow the recommended contact lens replacement schedule prescribed by your eye doctor
- Remove contact lenses before swimming
- See your eye doctor for your regularly scheduled contact lens and eye examination

Never:
- Insert torn or scratched contact lenses into your eyes. It can cause serious damage to your cornea
- Put contacts in your mouth or moisten them with saliva. Only use approved care products for your lenses
- Never allow anyone else to wear your contacts lenses or try them on
Other Helpful Hints
- Wear UV-protected sunglasses while in the sun
- Always keep a pair of eye glasses with your current prescription handy
- Use re-wetting drops to lubricate your lenses for enhanced comfort in dry conditions
- If your eyes get red or itchy, contact your eye doctor immediately. These can be symptoms of a serious problem
Wearing Makeup
- Insert your contact lenses before any make-up goes on
- If your eyes are sensitive, try switching to hypoallergenic make-up
- Apply all your sprays - such as perfumes, deodorants and hairsprays - before inserting your contact lenses
- Make-up can stick to contact lenses causing blurring, itching and drying. Rubbing the contact lens immediately upon removal is the best way to remove make-up particles
- Remember, each time you remove your contact lenses they should be cleaned and disinfected according to the directions for use
